Responsibilities Operate flatbed tow trucks with precision, adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws. Load, secure, and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual tools. Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before transportation. Assist customers with roadside assistance needs, providing friendly and professional service. Conduct routine inspections of tow truck and flatbed equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Manage load & unload procedures efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders during operations. Skills Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs and diagnostics. Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving preferred. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and accurately under pressure. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations professionally.
