Truck Driver ESCO Logistics Inc Castaic, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $250 - $300 a day 5 hours ago Qualifications Automobile transportation Route planning CDL Schedule management Full Job Description Job Overview Daily routes starting 6pm Sundays through Fridays, ending Saturday mornings. Yard in Castaic CA, local routes and out of state routes to Maricopa AZ are also offered. Responsibilities Daily start is 6pm, Sunday-Friday evenings. All local deliveries must be made by 2pm Out of state delivery to AZ must be made by 2pm Manage documentation related to deliveries, including logs, delivery receipts, and route reports. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior to promote safety and professionalism. Skills 2 years minimum experience as a commercial truck driver. Knowledge of manual transmission operation and in handling different truck configurations. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual techniques while ensuring cargo safety. Excellent route planning skills with experience in route driving for timely deliveries. Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving, including hours of service and vehicle maintenance standards.
