This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of freight, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and specialty loads. As a vital part of our logistics network, you will ensure timely, safe, and efficient transportation while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, including port areas and regional deliveries Load and unload various freight types such as refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other specialized cargo Safely load and secure freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Follow all route instructions precisely while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered during transit Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in a commercial setting Demonstrated ability to drive safely in port environments and on regional routes Experience handling various freight types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialty loads Familiarity with load & unload procedures, including use of forklifts or other loading equipment when applicable Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy cargo or securing loads as needed Join our team if you're ready to hit the road with confidence!
