• steel freight. Round trips. $65 tarp pay. $35 scrap kit pay. Home weekly. We are hiring experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for a dedicated account hauling steel re-bar out of the Los Angeles, CA area. All loads are preloaded round trips
• you deliver and return to your home terminal. This account offers consistent dedicated steel freight with specialty pay on every load. Immediate openings available. PAY $1,300
• $1,600 average weekly earnings $65 tarp pay per load tarped $35 scrap kit pay per load $15 stop pay per stop Weekly mileage: 2,200 average Paid weekly

JOB DETAILS

Position:

Full-Time

• over-dimensional steel loads

Freight:

Steel re-bar

• preloaded over-dimensional flatbed freight.

Home Time:

Every weekend

• home Saturday evening through

Sunday Routes:

Round trips

• all loads return to Los Angeles area terminal.

Delivery destinations include

Phoenix AZ, Kingman AZ, Las Vegas NV, Los Angeles CA, Denver CO, and Albuquerque NM Shift:

Both day and night

• flexible Weekend work: Voluntary

REQUIREMENTS

Valid Class

A CDL 21

years of age or older First Seat or prior flatbed experience required Must live within 25 miles of Los Angeles, CA Experience with load securement

• chains, binders, and tarping Comfortable with over-dimensional freight and steel loads Clean driving record Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen No special endorsements required

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate Class A flatbed truck on dedicated CMC Steel regional lanes Secure over-dimensional steel re-bar loads

• chains, binders, and tarping as required Perform live unloads at delivery locations Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections including load securement check Maintain accurate ELD logs Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies Communicate with dispatch on load pickup, delivery, and trip progress

This is a dedicated flatbed account hauling CMC Steel's steel re-bar freight across the Southwest

• AZ, NV, CA, CO, and NM.

All loads are preloaded round trips returning to your home terminal. Specialty tarp pay and scrap kit pay are earned on applicable loads.
