In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class C box truck for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, ensuring proper handling of goods. Deliver packages and products directly to customers' locations with professionalism and courtesy, providing exceptional customer service throughout each interaction. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while minimizing delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for record-keeping purposes. Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock movement, and organizing shipments when required. Qualifications Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading cargo and using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries. Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions is advantageous.
