Certification BLS Certification High school diploma or GED DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations DOT Physical Certification First Aid Certification First aid and CPR Full Job Description TEMP-to-HIRE Passenger (Elderly) Shuttler Driver Opportunity! We are looking for experienced DOT CDL passenger drivers to join our team in Los Angeles!
Schedule:
5:45 AM start time (8hr shift)
Pay:
$23HR to $25
HR BOE Location:
Commerce/Montorey Park, (Shuttle Daily Pick-up) Qualifications and Required Document Minimum two years of current driving experience required, and experience working with geriatric and/or frail elderly population preferred. Class B CDL - (Copy of front and back of license) DOT Medical Card K4 driving record for 3 years. (Can obtain this at their local DMV Kiosk) Clear background check CPR or BLS Certification DOT Medical Card. Current First Aid/BLS is required (Can be obtain upon offer)
Responsibilities:
1. Transport and provide special assistance to all elderly participants requiring transportation service as required by PACE program. 2. Ability to safely operate DOT- regulated vehicles for participant appointments and/or marketing clients. (10-14 passenger shuttle bus) 3. Assist each passenger to assure safe entry and seating, provide pick-up services when authorized by management; provide curb to curb services 4. Provide additional support to clients requiring additional special attention due to their physical and/or cognitive disabilities (i.e. hard of hearing, visually impaired, dementia, etc.). 5. Ensure proper use of wheelchair tie downs; demonstrate proper usage of body mechanics for wheelchair transfers.
