Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers and occasionally refrigerated trailers. Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly. Follow proper procedures for handling specialized cargo such as refrigerated goods. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (e.g., tanker, refrigerated trailer). 2 years experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with route driving responsibilities. Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment such as forklifts or manual methods. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling. Strong physical stamina for long hours on the road and lifting heavy loads when necessary. Excellent navigation skills and the ability to follow detailed routes accurately.
