Commercial Drivers License A Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate different types of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high safety standards. Duties Operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks, for the transportation of freight. Perform route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours driven and mileage. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport. Utilize forklifts or other equipment as necessary for loading and unloading freight. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, and other specialized vehicles is a plus. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts and perform loading/unloading tasks safely. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules.
