This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety standards and company policies. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks to transport freight across designated routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing route driving responsibilities effectively Secure freight properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating tractor-trailers, tankers, flatbeds, or refrigerated trailers Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles with confidence and precision Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when required Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation laws Experience with specialized trucks such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and cargo securing procedures Join us if you're passionate about driving excellence!
