Position Summary The Driver Associate (Tier 1) is an entry-level field position responsible for safely performing deliveries, moving services, loading and unloading freight, and providing exceptional customer service. Team members work alongside experienced drivers and crew leaders while learning company procedures, delivery standards, and white glove service techniques. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy physical work, take pride in customer service, and are looking for long-term career growth opportunities. What You'll Do Safely operate company vans and box trucks when qualified and authorized. Load, unload, wrap, protect, and transport furniture, appliances, and other freight. Use proper lifting techniques and safety procedures to prevent injury and product damage. Complete delivery paperwork, proof-of-delivery documentation, and inspection reports accurately. Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery and job sites. Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, equipment, and work areas. Follow company safety standards, policies, and procedures at all times. Assist with warehouse operations, inventory handling, and staging when needed. Qualifications Previous delivery, moving, warehouse, logistics, or customer service experience preferred. Commercial driving, route driving, furniture delivery, or moving experience is highly preferred. Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (company-paid). Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds on a frequent basis. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Growth Opportunities Employees who demonstrate strong performance may advance to: Tier 2 - Driver Specialist Work independently with minimal supervision. Handle customer interactions confidently. Assist with route planning and training new hires. Develop installation and white glove delivery skills. Tier 3 - Driver Lead Lead delivery and moving crews. Manage customer relationships and job-site execution. Coach and develop team members. Take responsibility for safety, quality, and operational success.
