Duties Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to deliver freight across designated routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Safely drive manual transmission trucks and navigate complex route driving scenarios with precision. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every trip. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each shipment. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight transportation. Familiarity with operating various truck types such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Skilled in handling freight load & unload procedures safely and efficiently. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Experience with route driving in different environments and managing time effectively on the road. Ability to operate specialized equipment like forklifts when required for cargo handling.
