In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in truck driving, load and unload procedures, and route management will ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our logistics operations, contributing to the seamless movement of freight and supplies. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks with manual transmission, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using proper techniques, including the use of forklifts or other equipment when necessary. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adjusting as needed for traffic or delivery priorities. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks if applicable. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly. Assist with securing freight on flatbeds or roll-off trucks to prevent damage during transit. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, especially with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks. Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely. Familiarity with load & unload procedures for freight handling. Experience with forklift operation is a plus for loading/unloading cargo efficiently. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
