The ideal candidate will have experience in paving and grinding, particularly with dump trucks, and possess a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting materials to and from job sites. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and asphalt to construction sites. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with site supervisors to determine material delivery schedules and routes. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and delivery locations. Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including cleaning and minor repairs. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required. Proven 1 year experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment in a construction environment. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic vehicle issues is preferred. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus. Ability to operate water trucks for dust control on construction sites is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and site supervisors. Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
