• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Truck Driver(CDL) to join our logistics team.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering packaged Chemicals and Fertilizer as well as fertilizer in tender trailers. The ideal candidate will posses a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with delivery and warehouse operations. As well as maintain records of delivery and vehicle documentation. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries and the highest standards of safety and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety protocols, and experience in load and unload operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure compliance with load securement standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered during trips Assist with special deliveries requiring specific handling procedures or equipment Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly Support team efforts in maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety protocols

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to work 40+ hours a week. Ability to work weekends occassionally. Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record. Must be able to PASS a Physical and Drug/Alcohol screening. Proven experience operating commercial trucks in various configurations such as flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, dump truck and Pneumatic dry bulk trailers. Experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred Familiarity with freight handling, load securement, and route driving best practices Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving including DOT compliance Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service Physical ability to load/unload freight manually up to 75lbs or using equipment as required Hazmat endorsement required, can assist in obtaining endorsement if needed.
