WEST COAST TRANS ALLIANCE
Long Beach, CA Job Details Full-time $30 - $32 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Automobile transportation Yard jockey CDL A Truck freight Full Job Description West Coast Trans Intermodal is seeking a dependable Port Driver with a valid Class A license and proven experience in port operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of at least 80,000 pounds, ensuring efficient and timely cargo transport. This is a 1099 Contractor position.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck Access all LA/LB terminals safely and timely Properly track and document activity log Report any issues or incidents to dispatch Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
Previous experience in with pulling containers from LA/LB terminals Operate chassis 20' 40' 45' and expendables Dry Van Experience is a plus Commercial driver's license Ability to handle physical workload Strong work ethic Must have a minimum 3 years of Class A driving experience Clean record
