MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO YEARS CDL
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This is no touch freight and driving loads both ways. Drop and Hook. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong knowledge of LB/POLA container moves within the terminals. Strong communication with dispatchers, and the ability to handle different types of freight, including 53' trailers.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Nights - Some weekend mornings available upon approval Duties Operate and drive Class A trucks, including tractor-trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with commercial vehicles. Experience with ocean containers 20' and 40' Strong understanding of safety regulations related to freight transportation. Excellent navigation skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and clients.
