In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time across various locations. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service, ensuring accurate load handling, and maintaining safety standards throughout your routes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our logistics operation, delivering quality service with energy and professionalism. Duties Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, ensuring items are secured properly for transit Deliver goods to customers promptly while maintaining a positive and professional attitude Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly Navigate route driving efficiently using GPS or route maps to optimize delivery schedules Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments when not on the road Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not required for all positions Experience with manual transmission vehicles and heavy lifting tasks Familiarity with warehouse operations including forklift operation and pallet jack use is desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items repeatedly throughout the day Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols to ensure timely deliveries without compromising safety standards Join our team and drive your career forward!
