This role is responsible for safely transporting food and supplies to our restaurant locations and catering events using a box truck. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. Drivers must ensure all product is accounted for before departure and verify check-in upon delivery at each location. A valid California driver's license and experience operating box trucks is required. Candidates must either possess or be willing to obtain a California Food Handler's Certificate as part of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a box truck safely and responsibly to transport food, equipment, and supplies Receive, load, and unload deliveries using FIFO rotation standards Verify all items are accurately packed before departure and checked in upon delivery Maintain delivery schedule and follow assigned routes for timely drop-offs Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and safe operation Communicate with dispatchers, store managers, and team members to report delays, issues, or updates Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage Maintain cleanliness and organization of the commissary yard and loading areas Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and food safety standards

Qualifications:

Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Proven experience operating a box truck or commercial delivery vehicle Ability to obtain or maintain a valid California Food Handler's Certificate Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns Professional, reliable, and able to work independently Must be punctual and detail-oriented
