Do you enjoy being on the road and working with your hands? Flora Clay, a leading supplier of orchids, plants, and pottery, is looking for a dependable and personable Driver to join our team. This role combines delivery, plant care, and facility support. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in both customer service and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Key Responsibilities Driving & Deliveries Safely transport plants, pottery, and related products to clients across Southern California Plan and follow efficient delivery routes Ensure timely and accurate deliveries Provide excellent customer service during drop-offs Loading & Handling Load and unload vehicles carefully to prevent damage Secure items properly during transport Handle delicate plants and arrangements with care Plant Care & Maintenance Water plants consistently based on care guidelines Clean leaves, remove debris, and maintain plant health Inspect for pests or damage and report issues Assist with organizing and rotating plant inventory Warehouse, Store & Building Maintenance Help receive, label, and organize incoming inventory Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, storefront, and work areas Perform light maintenance tasks such as sweeping, organizing, trash removal, and general upkeep Keep storage areas, tools, and equipment clean and functional Store Support & Operations Assist walk-in customers when needed Support register transactions during busy periods Help restock products and maintain displays Assist with seasonal setups and daily store tasks Equipment Operation Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when needed (preferred) Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role preferred Familiarity with local routes and Southern California driving Experience with larger or commercial vehicles is a plus Ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Ability to lift and move heavy items Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Interest in plants or willingness to learn plant care Job Types Full-time, Part-time Benefits Flexible schedule Paid sick time Health insurance Work Location In person
