Job Summary:

The Driver is an integral part of the treatment team. The Driver is responsible for transporting of clients to appointments/placements as arranged by program staff, upkeep of program vehicle, both routine maintenance and recommendations regarding major repairs. The Driver is also actively involved in providing direct or indirect care and supervision of the clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least one year experience working in a healthcare setting, experience working with severely and persistently mentally ill adults is preferred. Possess excellent safe driving skills and some knowledge about vehicle maintenance/repair. A High School diploma or a G.E.D. equivalent and a valid California Drivers License and insurability are required. Necessary skills include the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of three years driving experience.
