In this energetic role, you will operate various tow trucks, including flatbed, wrecker, etc. to assist stranded drivers and recover vehicles safely and efficiently. Your mechanical expertise and customer service skills will ensure every interaction is positive, professional, and solutions-oriented. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and make a real difference in drivers' lives during their moments of need. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized models, to recover and transport vehicles. Assess vehicle conditions using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to determine the best recovery approach. Load and unload vehicles securely using appropriate equipment such as winches, safety straps, etc. ensuring safety at all times. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, maintaining a positive attitude even under pressure. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and service reports for record-keeping and accountability. Requirements Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, or mechanic work is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, manual transmissions, and automotive components. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with tow truck operation preferred. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or flatbed trucks confidently. Excellent driving skills with experience in commercial driving environments. Skilled in conflict management with the ability to handle stressful situations tactfully. Physical stamina to load/unload vehicles repeatedly and perform manual tasks safely. Prior experience with automotive diagnostics or mechanic work is a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues on-site.
