Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and be proficient in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight as required, utilizing forklifts when necessary. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing fuel consumption. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while on the road. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other truck types is a plus. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in freight transportation is highly desirable. Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines effectively.
