Driver - CDL

Our client, a well-established agricultural production and distribution company, is looking for a CDL Driver to join their team in Oxnard, CA . This role is responsible for safely transporting fruit, materials, and supplies between facilities while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and deliver fruit, materials, and supplies between facilities as directed by dispatch Follow all traffic laws and company transportation procedures Complete daily logs, paperwork, and transfer documentation accurately Verify loads by maintaining accurate counts and descriptions of materials being transported Perform daily vehicle inspections including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes Report any mechanical issues or maintenance concerns promptly Communicate regularly with dispatch, shipping supervisors, and plant managers regarding route status and assignments

Requirements:

Valid California Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with air brakes Ability to maintain a safe driving record Must obtain DOT medical clearance to operate commercial vehicles Ability to safely operate trucks and pallet jacks Ability to work in varying weather conditions and plant temperatures Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly Ability to speak, read, and write in

Starting at $20.50 per hour

Schedule:
