Job Description:

This position is responsible for safely operating customer vehicles throughout the Port Hueneme facility. Team Members will transport vehicles between designated locations while adhering to all site safety requirements, customer procedures, and Department of Defense security protocols. Additional duties may include assisting with vehicle processing activities such as the removal of paint protection film.

Job Duties:

Safely drive vehicles between various locations within the facility. Follow all port, customer, and site-specific safety regulations. Conduct basic vehicle inspections before and after movement. Maintain awareness of surroundings and operate vehicles in a safe and professional manner. Assist with the removal of paint protection film from vehicles as needed. Report vehicle damage, safety concerns, or operational issues to management. Wear required personal protective equipment, including a safety vest. Maintain a clean and professional work environment. Comply with all Department of Defense and facility security requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The person in this position should at least meet the following: Must be at least 18 years of age. Possess a valid and current driver's license. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and Department of Defense screening requirements. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Must be able to work independently while following established procedures. Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Pay Rate:

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Safety Requirements:

Safety vest required at all times while on site. Follow all site rules, regulations, and posted safety procedures. Adhere to all traffic patterns, speed limits, and operational guidelines within the facility.
