Route Relief Driver

TransCold Distribution is the premier wholesale supplier and distributor of ice cream and frozen goods throughout Western Canada and the United States. Headquartered on Annacis Island, Delta, BC, we have 14 locations and 240+ employees. TransCold provides exclusive access to the most recognized and popular brands in the world with industry best product variety and customer service. We deliver to Major Grocery, Drug, Gas & Convenience, chain retailers and independent retailers across Western North American markets through Direct to Store Delivery (DSD) and Warehouse Fulfillment, and provide services for mobile vendors, corporate events and third-party logistics (3PL) customers. This role will be based out of Poway, CA Key duties and responsibilities:

• Work flexible hours; start times vary between 3:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m., with 4:00 a.m. being the average
• Ensure all customer deliveries are completed according to established procedures
• Provide coverage on routes, including route driver, route sales driver, mobile vendor, freezer movements, and ability to work in the freezer
• Deliver first‑class service to all TransCold customers
• Assist with freezer deliveries, special events, and cookie dough deliveries
• Provide warehouse support as needed
• Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned Key Qualifications & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations and local traffic laws
• CMV Medical Certification (or the ability to obtain one)
• Valid Class C driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Strong customer service orientation
