The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route efficiency, and timely deliveries across diverse freight types. Prior experience in commercial driving and load & unload operations is highly valued. Duties Safely operate trucks with manual transmissions across assigned routes, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Drive tractor-trailers, flatbeds, , tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks as required for different freight types Manage route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or issues Assist with securing freight properly to prevent damage during transit Follow all company policies related to driving hours, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance Experience Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight transportation Familiarity with operating various commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Experience with route driving and managing load & unload procedures in a safe and efficient manner Open availability according to ELD (electronic logging device) Knowledge of manual transmission operation Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated Prior experience handling refrigerated trailer loads or tanker trucks is advantageous This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing diverse freight operations while prioritizing safety and efficiency. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, familiarity with different truck types, and a commitment to delivering excellent service on every route.
