This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, containers, refrigerated trailers, liftgate trailers, and box trucks. As a vital link in our logistics chain, you'll ensure timely, safe deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, ect. Occasionally load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Drive route schedules with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Manage freight securely ensuring proper load securing techniques are followed Deliver goods to customers promptly while providing excellent customer service during interactions Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and route documentation for compliance purposes Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers and freight delivery Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred Experience with refrigerated trailers, liftgates, containers, semi trucks or box trucks is highly desirable Ability to load & unload freight efficiently and safely using forklifts or other equipment when necessary Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and safety regulations Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road Join us if you're passionate about driving and eager to keep goods moving safely across routes!
