Auto Hauler

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Auto Hauler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with safety regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of various truck types and driving techniques, including manual transmission and specialized trailers. Responsibilities Safely transport vehicles from one location to another using a tractor-trailer or flatbed truck. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper securing techniques to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of routes, deliveries, and vehicle conditions. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Operate various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and freight carriers as needed. Skills Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers is highly desirable. Strong background in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. Previous experience as a delivery driver is an advantage. Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks. Familiarity with route driving and logistics planning. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols related to load securing. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in maintaining logs and reports.
