Class A Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. Local delivery, Home every night, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage time effectively. Spanish speaking a plus. Responsibilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that arise during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
