Full Job Description Company Description:
2BFueled, a subsidiary of Supreme Oil Co., specializes in onsite diesel fuel delivery services for vehicle fleets, construction sites, farms, generators, and tanks. Our product offerings include on-road diesel, off-road diesel, biofuels, and renewable diesel to meet various energy needs.
Position Summary:
2BFueled is looking for an energetic individual to join our elite group of drivers to deliver bulk DEF and packaged goods to customers along with a wide range of other deliveries. An extraordinary work ethic, with an emphasis on safety and a team-orientated approach best describes our ideal candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely deliver metered bulk and packaged DEF, greases, and lubes. Conduct assigned duties while following all proper safety procedures. Prep fuel tanks for delivery. Manage inventory of tanks in the yard. Pick up parts and misc. supplies as needed. Operate the truck safely and in compliance with all company regulations, state and federal laws, customer policies, and internal rules. Maintain yard and shop. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections for defects and safe operating conditions; submit a daily vehicle inspection report on the condition at the end of each day. Report all accidents/incidents involving driver or company equipment immediately after an incident occurs to the supervisor. Installing tank monitors at customer locations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
High school diploma, or equivalent, such as a GED Must have and maintain a current valid CA commercial driver's license (class A or B). Must have and maintain a clean driving record. Must pass DOT drug and alcohol screening, DOT physical, safety background check and maintain current medical card in compliance with FMCSR. Pass a proficiency road test. Oral and written communication skills, measuring and mathematical skills. Forklift certification is required. Ability to operate pallet jack, drum dollies, and pumps. Duties Safely operate flatbed trucks equipped with HAZMAT (hazardous materials) certifications, ensuring adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, ensuring secure and damage-free deliveries. Drive the flatbed across designated routes, managing route schedules efficiently while maintaining timely deliveries. Transport various types of freight, including , tanks, DEF and Lubes on flatbeds. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking load securement and compliance with HAZMAT handling procedures. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and inspection reports in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and address any route or freight issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with flatbeds. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for HAZMAT transportation. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload techniques for various cargo types. Familiarity with route driving strategies to optimize delivery times while maintaining safety standards. Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading freight. Excellent attention to detail for vehicle inspections, safety compliance, and accurate record keeping.
