No OTR hauls. This is a temporary position for 3

• 6mos, depending on Vest's business needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Drive a Class A Truck Inspect truck to ensure it is in proper running order Complete an inspection verification sheet Report any problems to the appropriate personnel. Verifies load matches Bill of Lading Check flatbed to ensure everything is in good working order, ensures tires are properly inflated, and the load is correctly set for transportation. Strap down the load and tarp the load if needed. Driver confirms if client has an appointment for their arrival or not. Plans Driving routes for greatest efficiency Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery time May be responsible for picking up materials as needed from other suppliers. On occasion maybe asked to load or unload their own flatbed. May interact with customers, answering questions, collecting payments, and providing updates on delivery status. Safely operates the truck in adherence to all traffic laws, federal, state, and local regulations. Proficiency in using GPS for efficient route planning Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Valid State Class "A" Driver's License Must have a clean driving record Forklift Operation Certification Ability to successfully to pass Drug Screen and background check in accordance to DOT regulations

Education and Experience:
