In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of temperature-sensitive goods across various routes. Your expertise in over-the-road truck driving, route and time management, and stamina to meet scheduled appointment times is required. We are a small trucking company located in Visalia, CA. We are seeking a driver who is energetic and thrives on active driving with 6-7 days out and 3-4 days off. 1099 contracted and paid $1,500 to $1,800 weekly round-trip CA to Texas. Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers equipped with refrigerated trailers to transport perishable freight efficiently and safely. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, including refrigeration units, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements. Follow designated route schedules while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery priorities to meet deadlines. MUST HAVE

experience in commercial driving, particularly with refrigerated trailers (reefer) Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience with 13-speed manual transmission trucks. Familiarity with route driving and freight handling techniques. Prior delivery driver experience involving long-distance routes.
