CREW LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and drive a crew of 4-6 installers to various job sites throughout the day.
• Meet with construction superintendents on the job site.
• Inspect and review projects to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Complete necessary paperwork daily.
• Promote high standards for customer service, develop a safety culture, and create a positive team environment.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
• Take responsibility for the crew, their actions, and results.
• Responsible for sweeping, digging, blowing, hammering and other general duties as needed to complete the job. Install a variety of erosion control products including silt fence, erosion logs, soil retention blanket, etc.
• Responsible for reading the daily work orders.

CREW LEADER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• 1-2+ years experience in erosion control, storm water management, Landscaping or similar industry required
• Ability to balance quality workmanship with timely completion.
• Ability to comprehend instructions, reports, correspondence, plates, and development plans.
• Ability to organize, coordinate, manage time effectively, and problem solve.
• Must be physically able to safely lift to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to speak, read, and write English and Spanish language.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
