The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving and the ability to operate super dump dump truck. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Duties Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and construction debris . Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Follow designated routes for deliveries, maintaining schedules and timelines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport. Physically capable to climb in and out of the cab of the truck multiple times daily. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for dump truck operation. Experience driving dump trucks or similar vehicles. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills. Experience in freight transportation or as a delivery driver is preferred. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading materials. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety practices on the road.
