Full-Time, Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p Job Description Responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering materials to customer locations. Ensures compliance with all driver safety regulations, maintains delivery schedules, and provides courteous, professional service. This non-CDL position involves operating vehicles with a weight range of 10,001 to 26,000 pounds. Duties and Responsibilities Duties may include, but not limited to: §

Loading & Securing:

Properly loads and secures products and materials inside the delivery vehicle to ensure safe transport. §

Order Delivery:

Delivers customer orders to designated locations, unloads materials safely and accurately, and takes necessary precautions to protect both the product and customer property. §

Order Verification & Documentation:

Verifies all items against the invoice to ensure order accuracy. Maintains accurate logs of deliveries. §

Customer Service:

Acts as a professional liaison between SoCo Wood and Windows and customers at job sites. Addresses and helps resolve customer concerns in a courteous and timely manner. §

Vehicle Maintenance:

Maintains cleanliness and professional appearance of the delivery vehicle. Performs routine safety checks to ensure compliance with company standards. §

Returns & Pickups:

May perform product return pickups and complete necessary paperwork. §

Material Handling:

Operates forklifts or non-motorized material handling equipment to load/unload materials in designated areas. §

Safety Practices:

Follows all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Attends periodic safety meetings and may contribute suggestions for safety improvements. Requirements § Valid Driver's License § Pass MVR report § Obtain DOT medical card § High School Diploma or equivalent § Basic math & measurement skills § Attention to detail and accuracy § Ability to operate a forklift

Work Environment/Physical Activity The physical requirements outlined here reflect the necessary abilities an employee must have to effectively carry out the core duties of this position. § Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust. § Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently and on occasion may be required to lift and carry, with assistance, up to 200 pounds. § May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling. § Must be able to physically operate delivery vehicles.
