• Avon, CT We are currently hiring for the position of an experienced CDL Class A Driver who has a passion for construction supply and handling of building materials.

This is a full time position. Candidates must have a valid CDL and be comfortable driving a flatbed class A truck with a manual transmission daily. Sanford and Hawley Lumber and Building Materials is a 142-year-old essential business that distributes millwork, lumber, and building materials throughout the state of Connecticut and surrounding areas. Responsibilities:

• Products include but are not limited to trim, lumber, siding, etc.
• Deliveries to construction sites throughout

CT, MA, RI & NY

• Using a mobile phone to upload delivery photos
• Loading/Unloading the truck
• Strapping down the load
• Various tasks around yard The ideal candidate must:
• Have a valid DOT Medical Card, the cost is covered by the company
• Have a valid Class A CDL
• Have a valid driver's license
• Be customer friendly and willing to do various tasks around the yard.
• Have experience or exposure to working in a warehouse or distribution environment
