Boat Driver at The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina

Duties & Responsibilites Safe operation of a Pontoon boat carrying guests for a 35-40 minute guided tour of the river. Maintain and monitor fuel levels, and fill up when necessary. Properly dock and secure boat. Clean and cover pontoon at the end of the shift. Supply guests with directions, travel information, and other information such as available services and points of interest. Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs. Greet customers and guests Provide guests with assistance Performing for or Working Directly with the Public Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates Handling and Moving Objects Qualifications Working knowledge of the English language Excellent oral communication skills General knowledge of the Niantic Area Professional in appearance and demeanor Previous Customer Service background Valid Boater License Limited moving violations, driving accidents and zero alcohol/drug violations Additional Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
