Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure timely deliveries across diverse routes. Duties Safely operate various commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight over designated routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, pickups, and route logs Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Assist in securing freight properly on different trailer types to prevent damage during transit Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on delivery routes and freight handling Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles with confidence in shifting gears smoothly Knowledge of various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or manual methods as needed Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards Excellent route planning skills for efficient delivery schedules Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
