Estate Handyman/Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Estate Handyman/Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the estate's facilities, ensuring smooth operations, and providing reliable transportation. This dual-role position requires hands-on individual who takes pride in maintaining a property to the highest standards while providing professional driving services. Estate vehicles are provided for all driving duties. Duties Maintenance & Handyman Duties ∙ Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the estate, including interior and exterior repairs ∙ Handle general carpentry, painting, patching, caulking, and touch-up work ∙ Maintain plumbing fixtures, irrigation systems, and pool/spa equipment (basic upkeep) ∙ Oversee landscaping upkeep — mowing, pruning, leaf removal, and seasonal tasks — or coordinate with vendors ∙ Manage and coordinate outside contractors and service vendors; supervise work on-site ∙ Conduct regular property walkthroughs to identify and proactively address maintenance needs ∙ Maintain inventory of supplies and tools; source materials as needed ∙ Assist with event setup/breakdown, moving furniture, and general household projects Driving Duties ∙ Provide safe, punctual, and professional transportation for the principal(s) and guests ∙ Operate estate vehicles, which are provided, and keep them clean, fueled, and road-ready ∙ Maintain vehicle service schedules and coordinate all mechanical appointments ∙ Run errands including grocery and supply runs, dry cleaning, deliveries, and airport transfers Qualifications 3+ years of experience in property maintenance, facilities, or a related handyman role ∙ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving luxury or large vehicles preferred ∙ Proficiency across multiple trades: painting, basic plumbing, and electrical (light-duty) ∙ Ability to operate landscaping and maintenance equipment safely ∙ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently ∙ Discretion, professionalism, and respect for privacy are essential ∙ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks in all weather conditions ∙ Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call as estate needs require

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
