Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Dump Truck / Triaxle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials such as gravel, asphalt, dirt, and construction debris to and from job sites while ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Operate dump truck / triaxle truck in a safe and professional manner Transport materials to construction sites, quarries, and other designated locations Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of materials Maintain accurate delivery logs, tickets, and reports Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and team members Keep truck clean and report any mechanical issues promptly Qualifications Valid CDL Class A or B license (with appropriate endorsements if required) Clean driving record with a strong safety history Experience operating dump trucks or triaxle trucks Knowledge of local roads and construction site operations Ability to operate manual transmission Ability to work in varying weather conditions Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while driving Ability to climb in and out of truck cab safely Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Work Schedule Full-time (overtime may be required) Day or night shifts, with occasional early starts or weekend work depending on project needs Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance available Paid time off and holidays 401(k) or retirement plan options Preferred Skills (Optional) Experience in construction or paving industry Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
