Full Job Description Job Overview Hiring Now:

FedEx CDL certified Driver The schedule will be 3 to 5 Nights per week Driver must be CDL certified and FedEx double/triple endorsement Preferred to have a FedEx ID We are seeking a dedicated and skilled linehaul Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailer . This role requires a commitment to timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Night time shift only

Duties:

Terminal to terminal Nightly Linehaul Runs Hook up trailers and various dollies efficiently and safely Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbook of hours of service (HOS) driven and mileage (driven) and breaks in compliance with the DOT regulations . Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the route. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. must have clear driving records in the past three years without any moving violations & accidents Clear Motor Vehicle Record MVR Competent of driving night shift safely CDL class A license with double/triple endorsement Preferred to have an active FedEx ID must have active medical card / MEC card 7 days operation flexibility in the schedule required Skills Proficient in operating various truck types as tractor-trailers. Experience with route driving Hook up trailers and various dollies efficiently and safely strong understanding of safety protocols related to tractor trailer operations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good English communication skills Include reading and writing for interacting with team member. Attention to detail in maintaining accurate daily Logbook, (ELD), VIR (vehicle inspection report) delivery records and vehicle inspections. Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle. Inform dispatcher for routine maintenance. Initiative to troubleshooting and complete the tasks Must be able to enter and move in and out the tractor swiftly Must be able to use smartphones and tablets and GPS navigation This job is Linehaul driver only, it is not package delivery position Work addresses: FedEx Chicopee MA or 49 Fedex Drive, Middletown, CT 06457 •Bonus terms and conditions include but not only paid after 3 months commitment, perfect attendance and zero violations performance record
