Pay:
$17.25/hourly CW is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Material Handler & Forklift Driver to join our team in a fast-paced production setting. In this role, you will help keep materials moving efficiently throughout the facility, ensuring production teams have what they need while maintaining an organized and accessible workspace. Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility. Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated production, storage, or shipping areas in a timely manner. Stage and organize materials to support efficient production workflows and minimize delays. Maintain accurate inventory by tracking, labeling, and verifying materials during movement and storage. Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns to ensure safe operation. Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling, stacking, and securing of materials. Assist with receiving and stocking incoming shipments, ensuring materials are stored correctly. Support production teams by ensuring materials are readily available and replenished as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material movement and prioritize tasks. What You'll Need to
Be Successful:
Previous experience in a warehouse, production plant, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, or material handling environment. Ability and willingness to learn to safely operate a forklift and obtain required certification. Basic inventory, labeling, and recordkeeping skills. Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards and proper equipment operation. Valid driver's license.

Experience operating a forklift or other powered industrial equipment. Works well with others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong attention to detail when handling, storing, and tracking materials. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with supervisors and team members. Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and standard operating practices. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy production environment. Strong dependability, teamwork, and time management skills.

Standing & Movement:
Frequently stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during assigned shifts, often for extended periods of time without sitting.
Lifting:
Routinely required to lift, carry, and transport products and packaging materials weighing up to 40-50 pounds.
Repetitive Motion:
May involve repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling small tools or materials throughout the shift.
Equipment Operation:
Workers must be able to operate production equipment safely and efficiently, which may require manual dexterity and physical agility.
Climbing:
Periodic climbing of stairs or ladders may be required to access equipment or storage areas.
Temperature Exposure:
May be exposed to fluctuating temperatures, particularly in areas where food items or temperature-sensitive materials are stored.
Noise Level:
May experience high noise levels due to machinery, packaging equipment, or facility operations; hearing protection may be required.
Odor Exposure:
The facility may include areas with strong odors or airborne particles related to food processing, cleaning agents, or packaging materials.
Standing:
Workers must be able to tolerate standing and working on concrete or other hard surfaces for the majority of their shift.
PPE:
Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, hairnets, masks, or safety glasses, may be required depending on product and facility safety protocols.
Wet & Slippery Surfaces:
Production areas may include wet or slippery surfaces; caution and proper footwear are essential to prevent slips, trips, or falls. Reasonable accommodations can be provided.
