• Temporary, Part-time Summer Boat Driver — Tavern Island (Rowayton, CT) Overview Private Island (Tavern Island, Rowayton CT) seeking an experienced boat driver for transportation and water sports operations.

Hours:

30-40 hours/week (includes nights & weekends)

Pay:

$35/hour Responsibilities Boat Operations 1 Safely operate vessels (28 ft+), including night driving and variable conditions 2 Transport family, guests, and staff between mainland and island 3 Confident docking and maneuvering in tight residential settings Fleet Management 1 Operate and maintain multiple watercraft: 2 32' landing craft 3 28' Axopar 4 Zodiacs 5 Jet ski 6 Monitor fuel, batteries, and overall readiness Daily Execution 1 Complete nightly shutdown procedures (covers, power, batteries, equipment) 2 Assist with loading/unloading people and supplies Requirements 1 Proven experience piloting 28 ft+ boats 2 Strong night operation experience 3 Comfortable handling multiple vessel types 4 Excellent docking skills in tight conditions 5 Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Preferred 1 Experience with similar vessels (center console / landing craft)2 Familiarity with Rowayton / Norwalk waters Boat certification Send resume or relevant experience to life@tavernisland.com
