The Yard Worker's responsibilities will include maintaining the yard and its equipment, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with any other yard-related tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to undertake a variety of tasks in all weather conditions. A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to follow safety guidelines are all necessary for this role. Responsibilities Maintaining and cleaning the yard by removing trash, debris, and other waste materials Performing basic landscaping duties such as weeding Concrete block maintenance Assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks, and ensuring all materials are properly secured Operating equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and power tools safely and efficiently Inspecting and performing maintenance on yard equipment and tools Assisting in the organization and storage of yard materials and supplies Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries Reporting any issues or damage in the yard to the supervisor immediately Performing minor repairs and construction tasks as needed Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective gear. Assist with other tasks as needed. Qualifications Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
