Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using forklift or other equipment when necessary Transportation of sod, seed, fertilizer and other turf products on tractor trailers and flatbeds. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Plan optimal routes for timely delivery while managing route driving challenges effectively Communicate proactively with dispatcher and customers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered on the road Experience Valid CDL Class A license required 10+ years of commercial driving experince preffered Must be able to confidently operate manual transmission trucks Flatbed experience required Forklift experience required Must be able to read and write English Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards Strong work ethic, professionalism and reliability required Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a real impact!
