In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional service. Your expertise in truck driving and familiarity with different trailer types will help keep our operations running smoothly. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Drive assigned routes confidently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure optimal condition and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records of all trips and cargo movements. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries across multiple locations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Experience Proven experience as a commercial driver with a focus on truck driving in various trailer types including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, or dump trucks. Familiarity with load & unload procedures for freight handling across different vehicle types. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Experience with route driving in diverse environments while maintaining safety standards Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the types of vehicles operated; experience with tractor-trailers highly preferred.
