Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Helper and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations! In this energetic role, you'll assist with towing, vehicle recovery, and roadside support, ensuring safe and efficient service for our customers. Your mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm will drive your success as you support the towing team in various hands-on tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your automotive skills while providing essential services that keep our roads safe and vehicles moving. Duties Assist with loading, unloading, and securing vehicles onto tow trucks using appropriate equipment such as flatbeds or dollies Support tow truck operators in vehicle recovery, including attaching tow hooks and preparing vehicles for transport Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to identify vehicle issues during roadside assistance calls Operate equipment like forklifts or other lifting devices to move heavy objects or assist with vehicle positioning Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures during towing and roadside operations Communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service and manage conflict situations professionally Help with routine maintenance and minor repairs on tow trucks and related equipment to ensure operational readiness Requirements Mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or diagnostics preferred Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive systems is highly advantageous Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred; must be comfortable driving a tow truck or flatbed Ability to load & unload vehicles safely and efficiently using appropriate tools and equipment Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management professionally Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely Prior mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive diagnostics will be considered an asset Embark on a rewarding career where your mechanical skills and proactive attitude make a real difference on the road!
