DRIVER Class A CDL OTR

Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across extensive routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies Drive refrigerated trailers and/or dry vans to deliver freight efficiently and securely Ensuring proper handling and securement of goods Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards and report any issues promptly Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning optimal routes for timely deliveries Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with DOT requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers, shippers and receivers to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules, providing updates as needed Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission preferred. Proven truck driving experience (CDL 2 years min) particularly in freight delivery involving refrigerated trailers, dry van or similar equipment Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for long-haul transportation Strong physical stamina for extended driving periods and handling freight loads Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks Excellent route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and safety Embark on your trucking career with us—where your driving expertise fuels our success!
