Full-Time Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support our construction operations throughout the greater Jacksonville area. This role involves medium-haul driving to transport small equipment, tools, and construction supplies between yards, vendors, and active job sites. Drivers are a key part of keeping projects on schedule and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage or shifting during transit Deliver materials to multiple construction sites in a timely manner Assist with loading/unloading when needed Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and team members Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL (required) Clean driving record and current DOT medical card Subject to a pre-employment drug test Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience preferred Experience hauling construction materials, equipment and vehicles Ability to operate with loading and unloading equipment and construction materials (loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steers, etc.) Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed
