6/10/2026 Seeking a US Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, and/or Military Spouse (highly preferred) for a CDL Vac Truck Operator opportunity. The CDL Vac Truck Operator will be responsible for operating vacuum trucks and supporting stormwater and wastewater infrastructure maintenance activities. This role includes driving CDL B vehicles, operating specialized vac truck equipment, assisting with sewer and storm line maintenance, and performing physically demanding field work in outdoor environments. The position offers hands-on technical experience, travel opportunities, and potential for career advancement within a growing environmental services organization.
Pay:
$20 - $25/hour
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
  • Operate CDL B vacuum trucks to support stormwater and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT and safety regulations
  • Perform vacuum excavation and material removal from sewer and storm systems
  • Assist with maintenance and cleaning of sewer and storm lines
  • Operate vac truck hydraulics, boom systems, and related equipment
  • Lift manhole covers and perform confined-space related field support tasks when required
  • Follow all PPE requirements and safety protocols at job sites
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving field-related infrastructure issues
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
  • Work collaboratively with crew members to complete daily assignments
  • Travel to job sites as required and work extended hours when necessary
  • Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 70+ pounds regularly
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times
Requirements:
  • US Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, and/or Military Spouse preferred
  • Valid Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement required (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience operating vacuum trucks in sewer and stormwater systems required
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Strong physical capability to lift and carry 70+ pounds frequently
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions
  • Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed
  • Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently in the field
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with heavy equipment operation
  • Reliable transportation to and from work locations
  • Strong communication skills and professional work ethic
